A balance between light and shadow: fashion by Rejina Pyo

Rejina Pyo is well known for her graphic and sophisticated but never stiff aesthetic: she has created a feminine and playful style that is fashionable but can be easily worn every day. After completing her education with a master’s degree from London’s Central St Martins, she won the prestigious Han Nefkens Fashion Award and has since been a favorite of many important retailers.

For the upcoming fall/winter season, Pyo drew inspiration from modern and contemporary women. During her pregnancy, she reflected on the role of the female figure in society – wife, mother, friend, sister – and on her own identity as a woman. She emerged with a deep philosophy on the balances in life and the contrasts between light and shadow, stillness and movement, which she conveys in the pieces of her new collection: feminine and stern, opulent and low-profile at the same time, her creations have hundreds, perhaps thousands of facets, just like the women she dresses.
