Inspired by venues of the American West Coast, Barca’s is located in Turin on the central Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, in a renovated, early-19th-century building. Designed by architect Fabio Fantolino, it extends over three floors and has windows looking out to the street that make it feel even more spacious.
The 1960s and 1970s are clearly an inspiration here: just check out the gold alcantara of the upholstered couches, or the tubular metal frames on the chairs. White walls contrast with wood paneling. Blue sofas tie in with the color of the ferns painted on the wallpaper, while metal tubes painted in white elongate the space, projecting it vertically and making it more dynamic.
