Bred from the liberty of joining volumes and materials, from dreams left on the backburner while they were designing for big brands. These are the fruits of the playful labor of two Spanish designers who founded studio Goula / Figuera in Barcelona.

According to Pablo Figuera and Álvaro Goula there's no doubt that "Home Adventure", their experimental brand, is closer to art than to industrial design. "For us it's an exercise in freedom of expression and flexibility", the designers state. "We immerse ourselves in an unknown creative territory, and the resulting pieces are, by definition, 'home adventures' ".

In "Home Adventures" we find series of ceiling lamps "Lines & Dots", which arose because "decorative lighting is the field of design that provides the most freedom, it's the closest to the world of art". In this collection the dominant element is not light, but the choice of material, metal, sculpted artisanally.

The lamps started on paper, by sketching a storm of light and dots. Eight silhouettes that became unique models, composed of steel rods that were bent and welded by hand by local craftsmen.

To top it off, modularity. Each element can be combined with the others through a cable that acts as a pivot, with a metal capsule at the end in which a dimmable LED gives off warm light. Kinetic art meets domestic light design.
