The colors of southern Spain triumph at Albabel

Albabel is Spanish studio Masquespacio’s latest endeavor. Located in Valencia, the restaurant flaunts decor inspired by traditional elements from the South of the country, such as raffia, exposed brick, plants and decorative objects. The space is flooded with light and color. The walls are aqua green, gold, burgundy and beige – a trademark palette for spaces entirely covered in multicolor tile.

The atmosphere at Albabel is playful and fun. Its olive tree furniture echoes southern Spain and was custom built for the restaurant. It is simple, practical, and does not overwhelm the personality-rich rooms. The overall style is indeed eclectic, with vibrant hues redefined into the patterns designed by Masquespacio, in a masterful blend of Andalusia’s quirky mood and craftsmanship at the highest level.
