The ceramic heads in Rachel Levit Ruiz's series are bred from the same mold. A single origin that gives shape to different types of heads, each equipped with its own personality and aesthetic. With expressions ranging from serious to easygoing to sad.
By juxtaposing black and white, Rachel had fun creating different yet complementary patterns and identities. Based in Brooklyn, the Mexican artist and illustrator divides her time between drawing, sculpting and advertising.
"Heads" is a personal project that Rachel worked on independently. Her website includes a section dedicated to e-commerce where her pieces can be bought.
