Caught between prehistory and future, part alpine palafitte and part wooden spaceship, Ufogel is a simple way of conceiving a vacation, in the silent town of Nußdorf, in East Tyrol, Austria.
In just 45 square meters covered by an eccentric sculptural skin of larch, copper and glass, the designers concentrated a multifunctional living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and a shower.
All arranged like a cabinet of curiosities from which to admire the alpine landscape through great glass windows. Thanks to Austrian family Pitterl, everything revolves around the simplicity and naturalness of bygone times, but with the shapes of a welcoming and imaginative future.
